“If God gives such attention to the appearance of wildflowers—most of which are never even seen—don’t you think he’ll attend to you, take pride in you, do his best for you? What I’m trying to do here is to get you to relax, to not be so preoccupied with getting, so you can respond to God’s giving. People who don’t know God and the way he works fuss over these things, but you know both God and how he works. Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Don’t worry about missing out. You’ll find all your everyday human concerns will be met.
- Matthew 6:30-33 (MSG)
Ways to Pray:
Every month our operations costs are $10,000.00 - we praise God that He is faithful and always provides all of our needs.- But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19)
The medical care in Ghana is great compared to some other developing countries but it is still decades behind the medical care we had access to in the US. Please pray that our children, the families that we serve and our staff do not get sick and that any of them are sick that they will be healed in Jesus Name. -
But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5)
Ghana's economy - This is the most recent article that I have read concerning the state of our economy.
Faith Roots International Academy (FRIA) - With the state of our economy it is difficult for many of our families, who's children attend our school, to prepare one nutritious meal a day. We all know how important it is for our children to be receiving the right nutrition, especially when they are in a classroom learning for 7 hours a day. For the past couple years we have partnered with an organization that has helped us supplement the cost for our families who purchase school lunches for their children. Recently our partners had to pull back their funding due to other obligations and now we are trusting God for His provision in order to continue providing the children with nutritious lunches. We are currently trusting God to provide $1000 per month towards our school lunch program.
A much needed second school bus - currently our driver starts his day at 5:30 am when he leaves to pick up the fist bus load and returns around 7am with an OVER LOADED bus. Then he goes out on his second bus route and returns around 8am with another OVER LOADED bus. On September 9th our 2014-2015 school year starts off - with an additional 20 children added to our number - and we are in great need of a second bus to help lighten the load.
Expansion - We live in a community that is rich in resources (due to the quarries in our area) but many of the people whom we serve live in extreme poverty. We are trusting God to help us build many additional facilities at the CORM Children's Village that will benefit the people in our community. A clinic, Jr/Sr High School facility, Vocational School, Expansion to our purified water project...are just to name a few. Please pray with us as we continue to trust God to provide the finances for each of these projects.

Today's Praise Report:
Ghana's Economy is getting better and thank God for that. Just a few weeks the exchange rate for the Ghana Cedi to the USD was 1ghc to $3.70 and today it is around 1ghc to $3. The Ghana Cedi is getting stronger and for that we are grateful!
Thank you all for your prayers! As a ministry we covet your prayers and partnership. We would love to partner with you in this great work. We are currently trusting God for $3000 per month in operational costs. If you have the desire to financially partner with us please visit our website http://www.cityofrefugeoutreach.com/#!donate/c1le
*Please check back here for updated prayer needs and praise reports as we watch God show up in mighty ways* - He has done it before and He will do it again!
